Regular Passenger Fare Types
Nepalese & Indian (NPR) Fare
- This fare type applies to citizens of Nepal and India.
- NRNs (Non-Resident Nepalis) can avail of this fare by presenting valid documentation issued by the Government of Nepal.
- These fares are valid only for domestic flights within Nepal.
Foreigner (USD) Fare
- Applicable to all foreign nationals other than Nepali and Indian citizens.
- OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) cardholders must purchase this fare category.
- Discounts and lower fare categories do not apply to foreign passengers.
Residential Fare
- Equal to the full “Y” class fare.
- Available to foreign nationals who have been residing in Nepal for at least six (6) months and are working in international organizations or diplomatic missions.
- Not valid for mountain or sightseeing flights.
Special Passenger Fare Types
Senior Citizens
- 50% discount on the Normal 'Y' fare for Nepali citizens aged 70 years and above or classified as economically underprivileged.
- Limited to 2 seats per flight on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Valid government-issued ID (Citizenship or Passport) is required at the time of booking.
Passengers with Disability
- 50% discount on the Normal 'Y' fare for passengers with valid disability identification.
- Must present a disability card issued by the National Federation of the Disabled-Nepal (NFD-N) or a local authority.
- Valid for domestic flights only.
Child Fare
- Applicable to children aged 2 to under 12 years.
- 33% discount on the Normal 'Y' fare.
- Not applicable for mountain flights or promotional fare classes.
Infant Fare
- Applies to infants aged 7 days to under 2 years.
- Only 10% of the Normal 'Y' fare is charged.
- Tickets must be issued at the check-in counter on the day of travel.
Refugees
- Fare type is determined based on the nationality mentioned on the refugee's identification document.
General Identity Requirements
- A valid photo ID is mandatory at check-in for all passengers.
Fare Class Policies
Normal ‘Y’ Fare
- Cancellation Charges:
- 10% if cancelled more than 11 hours before flight.
- 33.33% if cancelled within 11 hours.
- No refund within 2 hours of departure.
- Rescheduling: Allowed up to 2 hours before departure.
- Baggage Allowance: 25 kg.
- Refunds: Made from the original point of purchase.
- Fare Class Code: Y
Apex ‘A’ Fare
- Cancellation Charges:
- 25% if cancelled more than 11 hours before flight.
- 50% if cancelled within 11 hours.
- No refund within 2 hours of departure.
- Open Tickets:Not permitted.
- Baggage Allowance: 20 kg.
- Fare Class Code: A
Bravo ‘B’ Fare
- Refunds: Only fuel surcharge refundable if cancelled more than 2 hours in advance.
- Open Tickets:Not permitted.
- Baggage Allowance: 20 kg.
- Fare Class Code: B
- Sold on first-come, first-served basis.
Charlie “C”, Delta “D” & Echo “E” Fare
- Non-refundable, non-transferable.
- Rescheduling: Permitted with applicable charges.
- Open Tickets:Not available.
- Baggage Allowance: 15 kg.
- Sold on first-come, first-served basis.
Ticket Cancellation and Refund
If You Purchased Your Ticket from Nepal Jet Airways Official Channels (Website, App, or Sales Office):
- Call our Reservations team or visit a sales office to cancel your ticket.
- Send a cancellation request email to: refunds@nepaljet.com with your flight and passenger details.
- Refunds will be processed within 7 to 8 working days.
- A 3.5% transaction fee is charged on the full ticket amount in addition to the cancellation fee based on fare class.
If You Purchased from a Travel Agent:
- Contact the same agency or point of sale for ticket cancellation and refund.
- Refunds will be processed via the issuing agency.
If You Paid in Cash at a Nepal Jet Sales Office:
- Visit the same or nearest sales office for cancellation and instant cash refund (subject to fare class cancellation rules).
If You Paid by Card at a Sales Office:
- Visit the nearest sales office for cancellation.
- Refunds will be processed within 7–8 working days to the same card account.
- A 3.5% card processing fee applies in addition to cancellation charges.
Note: Refunds for tickets purchased in convertible currency will be made in NPR (Nepali Rupees) as per prevailing rates.
Rescheduling Policy
- Rescheduling is permitted based on seat availability.
- If the same fare class is not available, fare differences must be paid.
- Rescheduling and fare difference charges are non-refundable unless the flight is canceled by Nepal Jet Airways.
- Payment must be completed at the time of rescheduling.
Flight Cancellation by Airline
- In case of flight cancellations, full refund is provided regardless of fare category.
- Nepal Jet Airways does not cover accommodation or transportation costs due to weather or operational delays.
Special Assistance Policy
- Assistance is provided to elderly passengers, expectant mothers, passengers with disabilities, and those traveling with infants (when traveling alone).
- Medical clearance may be required in some cases.
- Requests are subject to seat availability and staff assistance capacity.
International Flights – Passport & Visa
- Nepali Citizens: Valid passport or citizenship (for India only).
- Indian Citizens: Valid Voter ID or passport.
- Foreign Nationals: Valid passport and visa are required.
Passenger Service Charges
- Refundable in case of unused or no-show tickets.
